An interactive application aimed at pre-school, under-5, non-readers. It will help prepare your child for school and keep them entertained through the use of a bright, colourful, fun learning and activity zone. The game concentrates on early learning development and ties into the Early Years curriculum through the use of touch screen games and vocal guidance.

The child receives a happy-face reward for correct answers and a sad-face for wrong answers. Collect 5 happy faces and get a star!

The game includes:
- Pick a colour, shape, number, letter or animal
Vocal instructions ask the child to pick a specific item from those displayed, e.g. “press the square”.

- Teaching the child to draw numbers and letters
The child is asked to trace the number or letter that is displayed on screen.

- Next in sequence
A sequence of numbers or letters is displayed on screen and the child is asked what comes next. The child picks from the options available.

- Odd one out
A collection of shapes/numbers/letters/animals is displayed and the child is asked to identify the odd one out.

- Navigate through a random maze
Hand-eye co-ordination is developed as the child tilts the iPhone to guide their character through increasingly complex mazes, collecting treats along the way.

- Freestyle drawing game
The child can choose colours from the palette to colour in pictures or free-style draw on screen using a finger. You can save your pictures and send them to Grandma!

- Sing-a-long to nursery rhymes
Choose from a selection of nursery rhymes to sing along to, including The-Wheels-on-the-Bus and Happy-Birthday. The child can record themselves singing too.

- Learn to play Nursery Rhymes
Using the on-screen piano keyboard the game guides the child through the notes to play a tune

The player (child) sets up their character, entering their name, choosing a picture for themselves, or taking a photo with the camera – may need a bit of help from the parents with this part. Then they play the games and collect stars. They can view all their stars at any time, and they can change their character picture. Playing the games is, well, childs play really. There are voice prompts to guide the child through the menus and the games themselves.
